Your 220kg lighter than standard, not a bad effort. Cars looking very nice, should be a blast to drive.

Kind regards.

That's not far of the 911R weight, is it. Great work sir. I hope someone has lined you up for a proper photo shoot of the car & all those satanic details?

Drove up to Essen on Friday to visit Techno Classica, never been to the show before and wanted to do it before leaving for the US. I met up with some familiar faces, and also finally met those guys that I have only spoken to in this virtual world we live in. Great to meet, Mike Moore, Nick Moss, Ferryman, Steve and Nigel. MartinP and Dave (Stretch) propping up the Bar. Great to see Jon Miller again, nice sticky Buns!......Sladey and Mr Parr, I'll see you again in Spa :)

Some pictures from Essen to come....

So Friday morning I stopped off enroute at Classic Boxers. I had spoke to Daniel earlier in the week, he had done afew short runs in the car and needed to remove the Carbs, he suspected that they were dirty. The pictures below show that they were far from ideal...

Also got the other info from the weighing showing front to rear ratio...

Carbs were cleaned and put back together, and we were ready to try again. What came next was a very magical moment......the First Drive !!! Ok, it was just around the industrial estate and the Rev counter needs re-connecting.....but I can report.....it is Loud, Responsive and feels very quick.

Video is not great, but at least the moment was recorded :)

Chris - what to say? Car is amazing, looks exceptional, detail is superb - but that engine sounds absolutely fan-bloody-tastic.

Many, many congrats - can't wait to see it at Spa.

Take care.

Chris,
The car looks brilliant and the weight is incredible.
Good to meet you in Essen.
Still toying with my Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures engine lid design idea.
Hope your move to Portland goes well.
Regards ,
Martin
