Just saying hello...

Post by pescot »

Bought my first 911 last year and while not as old as many of the beauties on here, I like to think of it as a bit of a classic.

Really enjoying the ownership experience so far, even if it has been to the garage already for a bit of work. Plan is for it to be a long term hold...

It's actually on sport classic wheels now which I much prefer. Must get around to taking a decent picture.

Welcome to DDK. :)
Your car looks great. I seem to be alone in loving those 17" Cup 2's.
I'm intrigued now, what do 'Sport Classic' wheels look like?

Thanks. The Cup 2's needed a refurb anyway so I took the opportunity to swap them out for some like this:

Afraid not. My wife, however, is hugely experienced in giving a running commentary from the passenger seat...

I reckon pescot is alone in not liking them. They are the only wheel for a 993.

Put them back on and make it handle properly again pescot.

Oh, and, welcome to deedeekay.

From what I've heard/read, most people seem to like the turbo twist wheels best.

They're 17", exactly the same as the cups and were an original option so handling is fine.
