what were they originally fitted on & were there many size variations?

In 5 stud pattern, they were an optional extra, which was mostly used on T model 911. They are 5.5inch x 15, which was there down fall really, in that besides being expensive to make the common alloy size soon became 6 x 15.

I think MWS does them (www.midlandwheelsshop.com)

I personally do not like the replicas, the spokes are too angular/sharp but that’s being picky.

MWS ones are poor.

The JGE ones are much better.

Well I sold my 4 Gas Burners for £1150 2 years ago. They were a very nice wheel indeed.

Just as a note the Gas Burner was also an optional extra on the 914-6. The Burner is a great wheel but when detailed in black with polished silver highlights it really looks exceptionally good.
