Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
Long since last update! I´ve been takig care of my family and working, mostly..
I´ve connected the heating and considered hooking up a oil pressure gauge but left in on the shelf for now.. Did install a working, 912 temp/tank gauge though..
Also painted my lwt seat brackets so they´re protected from corrosion..

Mirror switch time, Talbot Berlin goes on.

Also received an alloy rear panel which is part of a potential update kit I am considering..

Also, refurbished distributor and Solexes.

Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
Last night I got some time to test mount my pea shooter system, some slight clearance issues but I am considering modding the alloy panel for this system. Do you guy´s like the look? I am eager to hear it roar, might have time for a proper install this weekend..

Exhaust looks cool. I'd be interested to hear if you can see anything out of the talbot mirror - cos I can see bog all out of my replica durant
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Sladey, I test mounted the Talbot before paint and tried to simulate seating position, sitting on a stool, I had "ok" vision.. Not good but "ok", hence better than seeing nothing at all =)
I´ll get back to you with a review once it´s mounted!

Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
I´ve spent the weekend applying 3M sound deadening, also cut felt for the back seat. The car is ready for it´s carpet now it wont be arriving until may so I will throw in the seats and hopefully drive some before its time to glue carpet.

New licenseplate =)

Wipers back on the "correct" side for 65-67

We´ve had some beautiful spring weather here for the last week but this morning we had 2 inches of snow.... Yuck! Just need to wait until it´s dry for some spring road testing!

Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
Had a couple of fantastic days at Techno Classica. Hurried to the garage this morning to get some stuff of the "to do list".
Applied rocker deco scripts in matte white - Plannng on switching the Fuchs to steelies for a more raw look.

Once I was done with the scripts I took a 60 mile trip in the stunning spring weather we are experiencing in Stockholm.

Bought and installed a pair of Parabolic velocity stacks.
Engine bay and the rest of the car is slowly progressing towards something that puts a smile on my face!

Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
I have been fortunate enough to be able to drive the twelve on dry roads a couple of times this winter, what a blast!
I have finally installed a more suitable passanger seat, got a pair of LWT brackets from Marek and fitted the seat last weekend. It is all coming along nicely.

Re: 1965 Porsche 912 Restoration
Love the car, Jesse. Exhaust looks great, colour looks great, interior is looking great.
I had a stick-on plate like that on my old 911T. Was almost impossible to read, which was nice...
