Few years ago I was working in Germany and had a day off so went to the museum at the Nurburgring. Wandered around outside and saw the infield access was open leading onto the start / finish straight and pit lane. Managed to get a standing start in before Herman began shaking his fists...jackstowers wrote:Goodwood was deserted and I'm sure we could've got a couple of laps in before anyone noticed.

Managed to get a reading from the crank sensor at last. But still no spark.
But arrived home to find my Hargett shifter had been delivered!

Drove mine
Despite the weather reports bigging up bad weather nationwide, we had some rain on boxing day night (in Bootsy country) and have had sunshine otherwise. So yesterday and today I drove mine. Later this afternoon, the roads were gritted so that's that for a while

After 342 days since removal finally reinstalled the rebuilt gearbox and engine into my 912. I think Johnny will be along later with photographic evidence. Cheers Johnny...
