Newbie just joined
Joined up today so i thought i'd introduce myself and say Hi. I had a 930 approx 8 years ago, white with the Martini decals and made a mistake of selling
i've been wanting to scratch the 911 itch again so recently bought a 1979 SC coupe for a bit of fun next summer, the thing i seem to be struggling to find immeadiatly is how to get the colour code, i've tried a couple of Porsche dealers but found them pretty unhelpful, it's a jet black car (not the metallic), can anyone help?

hi - should the colour code not be on the LHS door post - beside the hinges?

On the SC and 3.2 the colour code is under the front bonnet lid I think on the left side as you look at the car on the inner wing it may also be on the paper label inside the bonnet with all the option codes.

SC colour code will be on a metal plate on the lefthand A-post similar to the earlier cars, I've also seen it on a sticker on the rear slam panel.
