Heater valve colour/ Koni orange?

Post by DEEMAN »

Hi all, can anyone help with the colour for heater valves on my early 911? It looks to be remarkably like the Koni orange and that is another colour I need - if it is not the same.
What do I use - is it a special mix or is there a very similar colour I can get in a can off the shelf?
I haven't seen anything as yet.

Halfords will mix you a spray can(s) of any colour if you have the colour code, as will any automotive paint shop.

Hi Ian, if it helps send them down and I will powder coat them for you. We had the correct colour mixed in powder. It is much better suited for these parts than paint. We also use it on the rear torsion bars, which I know you can't see but the details need to be correct.

Hi Ian,

I used what Dave (Stretch) suggested. I gave a coffee jar full that Dave kindly sorted me with, passed on to my local powder coaters and came back fantastic.

Cheers
