Saying hello

Post by onthefence »

Hello all

I am new to the forum having just started to focus on getting a 1968 rhd 912 back on the road. I bought the sorry looking car complete with date correct engine and gearbox and several boxes of parts/bits for my somewhat underwhelmed wife a few years ago

We are now agreed that we should actually see the restoration through and I am getting into the detail of working out just how much is missing...

The car has been with an old boy who has done some initial stripping work on the body. Next week the shell, front suspension and various panels and other parts will be reunited with me and what I have here (engine parts (some missing), transmission, rear suspension (some of anyway), glass etc). I will post some pictures (which will make everyone feel better about their own cars) as soon as I can.

Cheers
Chris
