Chrome refurb for window frames?

Window frames: door frames, door caps, rear 1/4 windows and wing top trims
1964-1967 chromed brass
1968-1973 anodised aluminium

On my 911 T year 1970 all door frames and window frames had been painted in black: what product shall I use toremove paint without damaging anodised aluminium below?? Thanks

I'm interested in what to use, as PO has done the same to my 72 T door and window frames, a bit has flakes off and original finish underneath looks good, any ideas on removal of black paint, thinners?, paint stripper?, nylon scraper?...........cheers Mark..

The nylon scraper idea may actually work. It doesn't sound like it's been prepped or primered if it's flaking off, so have a gentle rub , see how it goes.
