I've put my 'street' exhaust on for the journey up - but I'll be putting the megaphones on once we get there ...

My car had been in for some fettling (wasn't happy with the fuel delivery and ignition) and then I was on holiday so hadn't driven it for a while ...... too it out for a good blast this morning and it was fantastic

Seems to be going better than ever! Off to give it a quick clean now.
The force is strong in this one ......

Tried to fix the ultra stiff throttle linkage... found some bushes have gone missing... now have a disabled car, just in time for Scotland :)

So you can't make yours go and I can't make mine stop. Going to try and get/fit a master cylinder before Thursday evening. At the very least I need new bleed nips as I've got three rounded and one missing- somewhere in plain sight on the drive unless it rolled down the drain. I hate bleedin brakes.

Bad luck Mick, One way or another mine will be fixed!

I'd suggest a new set of bleed nipples from your local motor factor with a larger spanner fitting, there is a risk of overtightening, but at least they are harder to round off!

Yes I'm calling at GSF on the way home tomorrow. I think the nipples are the same as old vw campers.
