A little about me first.
I've been lucky enough to own a few 911's over the years all of the air-cooled variety but never joined as didn't consider them old enough to participate on the forum. In truth I still don't as my current steed is a 964 C4 which is currently in bits undergoing refurbishment some of which I'm doing myself, one because I enjoy the work and two because it keeps the costs to a reasonable level or that's what I keep telling myself...
All my cars except this one have been low mile, pristine examples, my intention was to buy something to use add hoc and not another garage/show queen but temptation got the better of me or should I say my OCD kicked in so I've gone from..

Whilst the car has been away being refreshed we've been to a few agricultural type shows held locally, had a good time for different reasons which has sown a seed of interest in buying something different (in addition) in fact totally different.
I'm thinking of buying and totally rebuilding one of these to show standard so before the madness subsides I've been looking for info in the UK and found that you have your own section so that's it I feel I can finally join in..
I'm not yet totally committed to the project but we'll see how it goes..Cheers, Des
