Had my hillclimb FIA etc racing seat re-upholstered so removing the garish 'boy-racer 'Sparco REV' logo and the blue colour.
Re-done in the same grippy material but all black, looks ace.
This seat has been so comfortable over the years and the Italian period buckets the opposite, it had to be done. Should be good for the run to SPA in September.

Found I'd a third of a tank of petrol left from last month. Thrashed it round the lanes and carriageways of my shire till it was almost gone
A good day. A very good day. And the sun was shining.

Cracker of a day with 2 early 911's.
Drove my 73T/3.2 to Loton Park hillclimb (hard). New seat really nice.
Given the 'starter button key' to Roger Moran's rally 911 and ran the hill at speed (and my own 911) all day.
Quite a contrast, both such great cars, poles apart.

Went out to Tuthills to see about fixing the damage at the back of my car and then got them to check the tracking camber etc as a swinging arm bush has been replaced and a new set of tyres added since they did it last.
