Mark
Haven't commented on your thread for a while for fear of commentators curse but have been watching in awe.

So sorry to hear of this set back. Fingers crossed it's "sort out able" in time. I was looking forward to seeing your handy work.

I'd sort of promiced Thomas the passinger seat for my track laps but if you can't fix the car Cinders can still go to the ball.

Thanks Mick - I'm OK on the track laps but thanks for the offer - I wasn't taking mine round this year

Gutted for you Mark, and feel your pain...don't think the ModRod will make it to CLM either. Having said that lets see what Mr Bainbridge comes back with, you have never know until the Big Bird takes hold of the Mic.

At least you have Mike, I have Herr TÜV man to contend with :(

That is awful I really feel for you
The car looks great and mike is one of the 911 magicians so it may be ready yet and anyway ready or not you nearly have your car back which is a lot better than it has been for a long time
Anyway I look forward to buying you a beer at clm

Looking on the bright side I suppose it's better to have happened now rather than en route to CLM - still a bummer though.

The car looks great in the sunshine - & will look even better after the vinyl/graphics have been applied.

Time to look forward to & enjoy your well-earned holiday.

Oh no. Just logged in from the middle of the North Sea and as always, yours is the first thread I check. I'm so sorry to discover this hiccup but I'm sure Mike can get you back on the road ASAP. In the meantime, enjoy a well-earned holiday.

Thanks everyone for the kind words - they are all really appreciated - it really feels like a team effort!

Andy lightweight nailed it really - it's good that it didn't happen on the way to CLM

The car made it to Mike's last night around 7 (Mike waited for them to arrive) and he's going to look at it this morning. On tenterhooks at the moment.
