I've spent hours doing not very much, yet achieving a lot today! Which isn't very informative really is it!?

Spent a couple of hours messing with the timing which has hugely helped the way it was running and also sprayed up some wheels for a new look - i'll post a pic once its done.

Took drivers seat down to DSD as engine and box now in Monsier Aubergine, should be running come Monday.
Put new battery on 930 plus tried to fixed seazed door lock but failed miserably.
Went out for a blast instead. Havn't driven the car in anger for about a year, forgot how bloody fast it is great fun.

A few pre Le Mans checks, mainly to try and stop one of the brakes squeaking.

However I found this which is a bit annoying, but I guess not as annoying as breaking down with a seized shaft!

Sat in town in traffic in my rare and desirable 2.0S with the IDS Webers, ticking over at 900 with the occasional blip to entertain myself....an admiring pedestrian turned to his plain looking wife and said, "See, I told you. sounds just like a Beetle.

I stepped out of the car and bludgeoned him to death with my DDk tax disc holder.

Mike.

No, it has made it quieter and it wasn't loud to begin with. a southbound carpet set. Not cheap. Very quiet!

Started prepping the self inflicted scratches toy rear bumper ready for paint tomorrow

Then paid for and thoroughly enjoyed the Froch Groves fight but will pay for the wine consumption in the morning
