side window glass

putting in my side windows I noticed that they are quite badly scratched, no problem buy two new ones :lol: Auto glass £298 each + vat :( any one know if I can polish out the scratches? they are not deep just look so tatty as the are.

Lewis, I think the general guide is that if you can run your fingernail over the scratch without it getting caught then the scratches can be polished out, there are some inexpensive home kits out there for this but i've not tried any though so can't speak for their rersults.

failing the above good used glass sell for around £35 each, try transend.

thanks for that the scratches are not that deep but think I will give transend a bell on monday, sun is shining and I am getting desperate to get some driving in this year so the quickest option will do.
