Yes, doing a 911R-style set-up, with a twist. Will run a pair of TT's 'clamp-on' heater boxes, too...

Yes it is - excitement tempered by reality of no time to work on it. No chance for CLM, maybe birthday, but most likely Hedingham... Or not. :(

Can I be cheeky and ask approximate cost of the chromate to the cases and covers, reason I ask is my engine will be heading for a strip down and rebuild soon, and I love that finish on yours.....kind regards Mark..

TBH I'm most sure as was priced as part of engine build - best to give Alan a call (or see if he picks up on this thread).

Thanks guys – that's great coming from you two! I've decided the car will be done when it's done. I don't have the time or money to finish to a specific deadline, so just amusing myself with little details. Trouble is, I now wish I could redo some of the work I did earlier.. :?
