Not strictly today, but on Saturday I drove over to Marque 21 in Bridport for their open day. Nice coffee, tasty bacon rolls and soup, nice people all around. My wife and I spent a happy hour wandering round the antique/ farmers market as well...highly recommended and a very scenic drive down too.

I finally got an hour free on sunday to spend some time in the new garage.
Replaced all the fuel lines at the rear of the car to try and sort out the cutting out engine.
Still cutting out so jumped under the front tonight and replaced them, could see the problem as soon as I removed the cover plate, old pipe collapsing as it bends around the steering rack.
Not taken for a run but clearly better, MOT next.
Thanks for all pointing me in the right direction.
Stuart.
Tried to clean my generator stand. It appears that kitchen cleaning products and my bike chain degreaser don't work. Time to get something more powerful.
“A REMINDER. I would be grateful if those members who have borrowed bits from me in emergencies (e.g starter motor, oil cooler, etc) would return them and/or contact me”. – Chris Turner RIP
I spent 6 hours in the car collecting cylinder heads from the blast cleaners and taking them to the chap who is going to bore the ports, replace the guides and make them nice and flowey. Youngster is on school holidays and came along so we made a bit of a road-trip of it.

Removed fan and shroud, going off for a clean and a new colour scheme, TBA - probably not red. Drained oil and removed lower cam covers. Dropped one cam cover in oil pan. Plus a socket. And some washers. Doing my first home engine service, so top covers next plus valve set, dizzy, etc, to follow.
Well yesterday but only managed to post the pics today.
Trial fitted the carrera valance I have to see if I liked it. It will take some work (does anyone know if it needs brackets or just screws on?) had the exhaust put on so valance is next on the list. Must say it's quiter with the sports exhaust rather than the bursch one that was on!
Do I like it or not?

Mike Bainbridge and myself checked and adjusted the cam timing. Right hand bank chains had stretched and were slightly over spec. Going like a train now and sounded epic with the air box off on the way home.
