shared ownership & what model

Hi, I'm being drawn to subsidising/investing in an early 911 for use on weekends out of London & holidays away - my heart says a classic 2.2/2.4, my brain says an SC to 964.

3 questions:

1) has anyone heard of any fractional/shared ownership scheme for early 911's ?

2) would it be heinous & stupid to try to keep a restored non-concours example on the road, ungaraged

3) does anyone know first hand if the all weather breathable car covers work, or do they encourage moisture retention and thus rust?
