Sunroof - I've bought the panel from mark. Current plan is to fit it during the rest of the works (cos I haven't got enough to do...)
Fuel breather pipes. There are 2, big and little that come through the inner wing into an expansion tank behind the headlamp. When I repaired the inner wing these pipes were corroded so I cut them off. Then realised I need some sort for breather system. I also cut the smaller pipe thinking it was something to do with the washer bottle. Then I found it was part of a breather system so event an hour on my back reconnecting it. Finally found I don't need the small pipe anyway (it was a vacuum pipe connected to the expansion tank) - a valve on the top of the expansion tank does the trick. So I've just got the bigger pipe to sort now.
Longer wheel studs. My wheel arch changes will mean I can fit slightly wider wheels or spacers , so to allow spacers I got 66mm wheel studs for my birthday. They aren't too hard to fit but it takes about an hour per wheel. Done 3 so far. I also looked at buying steel open ended nuts but this was getting expensive so I've opted to cut the end off the existing ones - including the locking nuts

Today. Today was filler day. I started at 7 this morning and finished at about half seven tonight.

God it's a long job

Filling, sanding, feeling, filling, sanding, feeling etc. Also did the front wing

I knew things were getting serious when I took the window out

Finally it was time to unleash one of these puppies

I've no idea if they are any good or not - might be rubbish but they seem well put together. And they're in a CASE!
Eventually put a bit of primer on - my first time

Just nice to see it in one colour after months of patchwork quilt
It's highlighted some bits I've missed but not too and and they can be sorted
