Revival auction 2013 (mostly non- Porsche)

The most expensive Alfa to have sold at auction (rumoured to have been bought by C. Evans):

The ex. Clapton 365GTC. I was once offered Chris Rea's 365GTC (with GTO mods) for £65k. This one sold for £578k.
The one owner E-type sold for a world record auction price (for a road going version):

Rod Stewart's old, factory restored Miura SV:

330GTC and unsold DB5:

I would never have thought such a beautiful Lagonda could be had for sub £100k:

Or a Bentley for circa £50k:

This pretty Le Mans rep had an estimate of 35-40k but didn't sell. Someone snapped it up post-sale for less than 30k inc. wish it had been me:

This one had been discussed on here, I think? It was roped off so couldn't get close but looked decent from 20 feet (it sold, unlike through the dealer who had been advertising it):

Backdate ST-alike (no sale):

Never really given a thought to micro cars so was shocked to see the level at which they trade. Those in the foreground are the 'cheap' ones. Some sold for as much as circa £80,000!

Lord Laidlaw's competition collection is to go under the hammer this December.

Here's the sales poster plus a partial of the XK120:

I've no idea about the value of these but it looks like a very good way to enjoy classic motoring; a cool look & great to take to CLM. As a rep, is it eligible for anything?

Thanks for posting Steve, nice pics and that Lagonda is something but make mine the Miura, even with that dodgy history

Steve - didn't you have a 365 GTC at one stage? What was it like to own, drive, maintain etc? Nightmare or the 60s V12 dream?
The force is strong in this one ......
