Thanks for the pics Nigel, I swear half of those cars weren't there when I looked around.
I'd better spend less time chatting next year.....

Re: Classics at the Castle - Hedingham 2013
Had a brief chat with Tony Hatter about the 991 911/50. I viewed this with a pretty cynical eye at launch, but I'll admit that he won me over with his knowledge & enthusiasm for the early cars and a desire to celebrate them in a modern 911. Some quite technically challenging design work to be done, like that rear grille, and it all took 18 months. He was insistent that they use houndstooth, despite the marketing guys wanting something different; cool bloke. But sadly, didn't get time to talk about about designing the 993

Robert,
The Tog Brown 356 is owned by Mark Wrigley
He has owned it for about 30 years but it became the subject of a Sportwagen re-build approx 2 / 3 x years ago

There's so much to see that I think we all miss stuff, which is one of the reasons seeing everyone's pics is so good.Bootsy wrote:Agreed, just seen a few cars in your pics I completely missed.
BTW great B&W work Paul.

Agreed. A beautiful RS and the ex-Mark Waring car that used to be "ROO 4". I always thought that colour was Jade Green but now understand it's correctly Light Green. One of only 11 RS in that great colour and the only RHD I'm told. Pic below of it back '98ish.964RS wrote:Fave car of the day?
That green 2.7RS......AGAIN! Everytime I see it I just think, WOW, it stands out from everything.
One of my fave cars of the day (or ever?) was the magnificent Kremer RSR. And it was really good to see John Fitzpatrick being reacquainted with it after 40 years.

Slopey (who was shouting that at you during the parade by the way? Very rude of them....) which car that you have sold would be worth the most now had you of kept it?
Just curious...
PS Melv tells me you are now the official Porsche Club GB Slopey Register Director? Please tell me he was winding me up!
