Hello from California

I have heard of this board for some time, thought I would comer over and have a look and say hi. I am Mark Allen from San Diego California. I have been into Porsches since I could first drive a car. Fortunately for me Southern California has always been a Porsche friendly place, they are everywhere here. Over the years I have worked in different shops learning how to do everything from build engines to cut up and dismantle rusty junkers. It seems these days the old Porsches are more popular than ever and no one cuts them up for scrap metal anymore no matter how rusty. I have met many people on this forum and throughout Europe who have ventured over to pick up California cars for themselves. I think it is time that I start venturing over to Europe to see the car culture over here. Looking at the people on this forum I already recognize some of you and you may know me from the Early S Registry.
