Yorkshire drive & meet - Mon 22nd July

The sun is shining, perfect opportunity for a meet & drive.

I'll confirm exact meeting places etc over teh next few days, but here is the outline:


Monday 22nd July

Meet : Skipton 6:45 - 7pm

Drive : out into the dales , grabbing some fish & chips en-route

Meet 6:45-7pm in the car park of the Little chef / travel lodge just off the A65

hope everyone enjoyed that one 8)


Some roads I'd never driven before , & others where it was my 1st chance to drive them without a nissna micra blocking the way ... not sure how many miles we did , but the front of teh car is well & truly splattered with bugs ( some german ones still on there too ;) )

Just back from a spirited drive out with James and co . Felt really good to be back in the saddle . It's been a while . The '12 is running quite well now and managed to keep up for the most part . Good to see everyone again .Image

An enjoyable drive and plenty of roads I'd never been on and had no idea where I was some of the time :? Not quite as smooth as the German roads I was on last week and the car was creaking in protest :(

Great to see rvzz's little 912 on the road keeping up very well.

great run out could not see out of the screen by the end of the night with all the fly splatter , was well lost on roads I have never been on good to see russ and drive his 912 nice little driver buzzes along well , covered 212 miles by the time I got home great night peter
