New Girl
Hi I'm Sports an I've just registered with DDK. Robert Barrie suggested that I joined as he told me that everyone was very helpful and prepared to share info. Home is West Sussex not far from Goodwood. I own a 996 GT3 Mk1, '71 (MY '72) 2.4S and a '58 356A T2 RHD Normal (currently being serviced by Robert Bray).

Re: New Girl
Funny you should ask, it`s not really actually mine..... it`s my wife's.Sporter wrote:A bit bizarre but yes I do. Tell me about your '59 S.
Unfortunately the engine is in bits at the moment because I broke it, which hasn`t gone down too well.
Other than that it`s a lovely car.
Welcome to DDk Sarah and as Bootsy says, we love to see photo round here.
Regards, Mike.

Re: New Girl
Wow, with such incredible stablemates, why a 996? A 993 or a 997 would surely be a better 'modern' compliment to such exquisite classic thoroughbreds ...

Re: New Girl
I hope these links to photo of the GT3 and the 2.4S work. 356 photo I'll post later. Steve, yes I remember seeing you at Goodwood in fact I think you took some lovely photo's of my 356. Mike I hope your wife's car get's fixed soon before our pathetic summer is over, hope it's nothing too dramatic. Al yes I do remember you from Robert's trackday, overtaking me! Ant valid point and before I bought the 996 GT3 I was looking for a 993, I decided that the GT3 was a rarer car and it appealed to me that it had a good racing pedigree.
Thank you all for making me feel welcome and Margaret I glad I'm not the girl!
