Devon Newbie

Post by John_F »

Hi All,
I'm a Newbie from South Devon, retired, currently driving a 1973 VW 1303LS Cabriolet (passed its MOT last week with no advisories).
I'm looking to get back into a Porsche again, having in the past owned a 1965 356C Cabrio. Have always fancied trying a 914 & would appreciate members' opinions on prices to be paid for a very good one.
Incidentally, are members aware that VED exemption was extended to cars built before January 1st 1974 in the last budget? This will currently save me £220 p.a. on my '73 built VW 1600cc Cabrio.

Kind regards,
John.

Hi John,

Welcome to the small, select South West DDK community. :albino:
There is quite a store of 914 knowledge down here, with both Roger Bray and Crispin Manners near Exeter, and several 914 owners and ex-owners (Hello KS! :) ) not too far away.

Hope we get some good weather soon so that you can use your Cabrio!

Cheers!
