Just to update things.

All deposits must be paid by Friday 12th April to guarantee your place on the factory tour.

After this date, those who have paid deposits & are on the reserve list for the tour, will take any spare places ... all other places will then be on a 1st come basis.

Please pay your deposits ASAP.

Regarding the factory tour places, it is as discussed a few posts ago. I will review the bookings in a few weeks time. If by that point people in the list have not paid their deposits, I will assume they are not going and the ' reserves' will move up the list .

You'll notice a slight change to the prices via Calais. This is due to a mistake on the previous list I posted .

Not sure how I manged to miss this thread for 3 months but better late than never.
Couldn't go missing my first DDk tour in the last 7 years
Thankyou Chris J for pointing it out. :salute:

Quick call to James and all sorted now. Sarah and I are on the list hopefully in the 914/6GT.
Here's hoping the 914 is still in one piece after rallying to the Dolomites and back via the Italian Lakes only 2 weeks before though :?

Classic resto tour booked and on the reserve list for the factory tour.
Sarah and I have been to the museum twice before so really hoping to get on the factory tour this time if the natural order of things means that some unfortunately soul has to cancel for one reason or another.
I've booked onto the factory tour last time we went but we arrived only to find they had double booked it and several of us couldn't go. :(
Hoping everyone can make it, but if you find you can't, then just remember you'll have made at least somebody very happy. Only kidding  Well sort of
Look forward to seeing you ALL there in some car or other.
Andrew & Sarah

Just thought it would be useful to gauge the support for the different channel crossing options if that helps anyone make up their mind.

If you want to stick you replies on here, I'll compile a list for everyone to see. Just fill in details against the outward and return journey options you plan to choose.

Outward Jouney ? Hull/Rotterdam OR Eurotunnel OR Dover/Calais Ferry/confirm time?

Return Journey ? Rotterdam/Hull OR Eurotunnel OR Calais/Dover Ferry/Late Monday/Tues afternoon ?

I'm booked and will be taking the Eurotunnel there and back. Would be interested in meeting up with any ddk folk for the drive there and back.

Thanks

Are people aiming for a particular cross from Hull on Thursday?

PS I'm filled in the form from the link but is there a number to call and pay the deposit or do they call you back?

Neil , there is only one sailing out of Hull to Rotterdam per day . From memory it sails 8pm, so you need to be there for 5 or 6pm. If you were doing Calais then you could organise timings to suit

On the website, you should also have added the deposit ot the cart & then been asked to checkout via Google wallet

If you'd prefer, here are Brians contact details

It makes me sad but Hayley and I are going to have to give the Euro Tour a miss. Just a case of priorities really, we need to move into our house within a month and all the stuff you kinda take for granted in a house... light switches, lights, windows, floors, Kitchen, massive telly, wine rack .. in fact everything you see when you walk round your house.... well we need to buy all that stuff this month.

It`s coming on though. :)

Have a good time. Take lots of photos.

Cheers, Mike.
