This might be a really dumb question, but have you got access to a playstation or something? if so pick-up a copy of the computer game GRID which can be had for about £5, and you can do as many laps of donnington as you like ;)
won't fully prepare you, but gives you an idea which way the track goes at least!
when are you guys actually going to be racing at donnington? I might pop-up and watch

Good idea. Works for the new F1 drivers!!

is that sat or sun?

grid actually has a pretty good representation of donnington, the only thing is i think the chicane bit before the start finish straight (or the loop, depending on layout) has moved down the track for the f1 boys who never came, so for god sake don't try and learn braking points or you'll be in for a shock!

Guys, still only one n in Donington. I'm there in a rear-engined FJ - car #1! Best wishes, Robert

Actually, now that I look at it, there are three n's in Donington, but not four - and you know what I mean! Best wishes, Robert

Great, lovely to have some support and we're without any crew this weekend so you might be roped into holding a stopwatch or pit board on the pit wall if you turn up! We're racing Sunday, practice starts at 9am, with two races, 1pm and 3pm.

Gearbox, brakes and motor went in Monday. host of other things bolted on & motor fired up and cam bedded in yesterday, MOT and some miles being put on the car today. The thing sounds like an F1 motor now, truly unbelievable and sounds soooo potent. Going to be interesting to see how she runs in the pack on Sunday. A HUGE thanks to Ian Clark, who has done an amazing job in building this and putting it together.

More photos soon.

Cheers, Steve
