Anyone know anything about this 911?
http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/cla ... rsche-911/
would it be a good buy, or is it just a combination of newer/later Porsche parts added to an early shell?
Is the price right or is it over priced for what it is?
Any advise would be appreciated

Pretty little car but I can't get my head around how on earth a 'T' with standard seats an SC Engine, 915 gearbox, SC front struts, Carrera discs, Carrera callipers and SC drive shafts.....
is
"a practical alternative to an "S" at a third of the cost."
It's absolutely nothing like an S?
Apples and pears.....just tell it how it is.

The car pictured in light blue looks to have been taken a Ciaran Woods house in Maghera Northern Ireland.

Re: Anyone know anything about this 911?
Hi, it's my car.
It was Ciaran Woods blue car (See hotrod thread on this forum last year)
It IS a practical alternative to an S, I use it every day and it stays outside.
With CIS it is very practical, has S trim and goes and stops as good or better than an S.
Nothing wrong with the seats, they are correct for an S.
Obviously it is not the same as an S MFI engine (I have an MFI 2.4 TE) , but the 3.0 SC also likes to be revved and the car is very satisfying to drive.
I have put some more pictures on http://www.cars.paul-lodey.com

Are you interested in selling the 911 2.4?
