Despite my car being a post-73, I hope you will enjoy an update on the last bits done, starting with new tailored carpet in the boot
and in the rest of the cabin of course, all out of black deep pile.
The safety belts I spent so much time cleaning look just as new! I will need to spend some time detailing the quarter inner trim and then the rear will be well sorted I think. The original soundproofing is still in excellent shape.
We then replaced the broken rear window latch

with a brand new genuine part courtesy of Roger Bray
And finally the mess of old Clifford and Toad alarms was removed, basically going from this

This is therefore my offering to the "church of the lightweight"
Apart from the red overspray, only one of the two horns was functional, so a newer unit went in
The end is very very near!
