Did Porsche display at the 1968 Earls Court Motor Show ?

Does anyone know if Porsche Cars exhibited their range in 1968 ?

Event was October 1968, maybe if someone has a Porsche Post from November or December 68, may give a clue ?

Best bet is to look out for a programme turning up on eBay (they do from time to time).

There is surprisingly little info on the motor shows with the exception of a list of dates in some cases. I have tried digging in the past with little success. You need to find a local collector of the catalogs.

Probably best getting one of the car magazine reviews of the show if you can't find a catalogue. They can be quite informative.

I think the simple answer is yes. Arfor Jones on here or PCGB forum owns a lovely red 1969 T that was displayed (and bought by its first owner) at the Earls Court Motor Show in October 1968 so you could contact him for further information. I can PM you his email and phone number if you wish.

From information I have gathered about the car with Arfor's help the dates add up as the car was built in September, brought to the UK early October and registered to its first owner on the 28th October which is two days after the show finished.
