Great work , some serious metal forming there and proper repair, not just pure replacement ( which I really dislike), have you chosen a colour yet?

Re: Porsche 911T 1969 restoration
Now that is impressive!
With so much rot and the time spent, would a new bonnet not have been a more viable option?

Re: Porsche 911T 1969 restoration
Dont forget that i live in Estonia and when comparing part prices with the options of repairing items usually repair is way cheaper. Bonnet transport alone would cost substantial amount of money.

Re: Porsche 911T 1969 restoration
Excellent and it still has (most) of the original bonnet, interesting to see all that foam and observe how it accelerates corrosion, I didn't know it was used so early assuming it was original .

Those are some awesome metalworking skills.
The champagne yellow is a pretty rare colour, and it was certainly a special order. Would you be able to post a photo of the badge to aid my research into paint codes.
