I think it also really illustrates just how much work goes into painting a car. You'd really think that with the filling and priming sorted, a quick flash over with some sealer, and bish bash bosh, job's ready for painting. But no, another whole set of processes to work through.
I pity poor Rich being forced to go the 'rough and ready' route in places, much harder than it looks. A bit like doing 'random' tiling at home, amazing how many times you have to change the tiling around for them to look random. Texture on the underseal looks good to my eyes BTW
