1965 FIA-spec Porsche 911
We now have three FIA-spec race cars for sale. This is the latest:
Chassis #301048 is a 1965 Porsche 911 with an impressive past as a successful historic rally car. The car was imported from the US some twenty years ago and prepared by Francis Tuthill. Ownership quickly passed to Beatty Crawford, the renowned navigator, who used it to campaign at the top level of the sport, with names such as Bjorn Waldegard, Jimmy McRae and Louise Aitken-Walker behind the wheel. The car met with considerable success under Crawford's ownership and the wins continued under the subsequent ownership of Clive Fidgeon. More recently, Richard Hudson-Evans oversaw some renovation work on the car and, more recently still, the present and previous owners have developed it as an FIA-spec historic race car. Now in blue, this 1965-built 1965 model-year car retains the UK road registration FKJ 32C from its rallying heyday, comes with current and past FIA papers and has a newly-refreshed engine. It is ready for action. The price will be approx £75K. Do let us know if you have any interest. Best wishes, Robert
