Strong catholic where I am. From what I understand the idea is that it creates stronger family time i.e you can't do anything other than spend time with the family.....its ok once you get used to it and get the timings right, it is nice in the summer and bearable in the winter :)

The beer gardens, restaurants (some) and swimming pools are open on Sunday :)

it's ringing a faint bell that you already told me this when we were at the 'ring. It's interesting.

Enough off-topic

When will this car be finished or are you planning to do a Mike?

  Yeah, good one.

Erm? Deadlines have come and gone but it really is not that far off. I have all the bits just a case of putting them all together, and making sure it works.....fairly confident that the engine will start before Christmas.....maybe

I am saying nothing

To finished off the tank cleaning/coating saga...

Por-15 tank sealer added and tank spun/rolled/ man handled for at least 30mins to ensure good coverage. I actually used 1 and half tins, on the advice of the aforementioned Engineering student. The tank was lifted on his winch and then allowed to drain (through the breather pipe)...additional support came from the crank from his 1938 Opel project :)

Dried and now rock solid...

In preperation of installing the engine I decided to turn the car around ( its much warmer with the garage door shut :) )

This of course meant dropping it back on its wheels and wheeling it out...it also gave the opportunity to take afew pictures...

Looks very cool Chris in so many different ways. Got to say though that I think the wheels could do with a different colour to break up the grey. Just my humble opinion and hey I'm a lawyer so WTF do I know. I specially love those bonnet straps.
