Thanks

I think there's about a dozen staying at the hotel .
No idea how secure the parking is . It was difficult enough finding a hotel with parking in Cambridge on a Saturday night but I'm sure it will be ok.

I think you'll be OK. We had a car crime here in 1982 but it's been quiet since.

Mmmm, looks lovely. Unusual colour. I'm looking forward to looking it over.... ...though it might only serve to upset me at my poor progress on mine. :(

Me too. In spite of the best laid plans etc. I'm now looking after the youngster for the day and 5 hours in the back of an old 911 is more than I can reasonably expect of a 9 year old.

Just got the basket weave RS door cards sorted too!

Just finished 2000 mile French trip......will see you all tomorrow, can't make Cambridge tonight as have just done 12 hours traveling and frankly a bit knackered.

Really looking forward to it.

As one who is interested in all things '74 Carrera I looked out this car. It's Sahara Beige.
Phil kindly showed me around and it's certainly a good 'un. Unrestored too.
It's a US spec car (not MFI) but it has a rather tasty exhaust on it and sounded very rude. 8)

It certainly is unmolested and very sound. Lots of correct and rare parts on it.
I wanted to steal a round seat back tipping knob for my car (I'm missing one)...

Anyway - if you're considering buying - it's certainly worth a look.
