Nearly went for Chrome Trim for front frames, Perspex vented frameless rear quarters and chrome rear and front screen trims but left it for my next mini project23e Heure wrote:Agreed: The Minilites look great on your car.

It wasn't for the Le Mans trip.johnM wrote: I bet its a hoot to drive.
I had an air leak that resulted in loud backfiring on overun which presented itself just before leaving the UK. Anybody who followed me can vouch for it! You could also hear a strange noise on tickover.
I also had a some brake binding issues later on in France.
Anyway - had it all checked over last week and it it was all down to a split pipe or two. This was causing the bang and the tickover noise (air being sucked in)
Now running like a different car!
A shot on route from Caen to Le Mans

Hi Thomas
Car looks great!
With minilites, do you have to be specific about offset or can you just order a set of 8x15s for a 911 and they fit? Even after speaking to the very helpful chap at minilites I'm still very confused.....
cheers
Will

Re: Speed Yellow Hot Rod 911!
I read a lot, asked a few people who ran them and yes, just ordered them. I then went through various calculations to assess the right profile of rubber to fill the arches nicely.scalino65 wrote:Hi Thomas
