Could almost do with a separate thread of specs/graphs for these although I know it's not usually helpful comparing dyno results.

Full 2.7 RS spec but with (apparently) Kremer mods to the inlet ports

plots are always nice to see , but rolling roads especially are difficult to replicate figures ... I have other plots for my car on Bob's rollers that show different numbers . Also no 2 dyno's seem to read the same .. I believe there is one rolling road in the North West that is pretty optimistic

Apart from pub bragging, the only real use of dyno's is as a tool to set up fuelling , ignition etc & also to do back to back comparisions on modifications made as in that case the headline figures don't matter , but the differences between the different runs can be useful

Yeah, I'll be happy if mine starts, idles and runs well - anything else (50mpg would be nice) is a bonus

If they're all on the same dyno type and conditions are the same (or all sae corrected) they can be loosley compared. The important numnber is rwhp though and not the normally quoted bhp, althouhh 911 vs 911 there shoukdnt be too much difference

So finally got my car back last night and the sun even shone for a while so I got to take it out for a run.

Runs really well now, very strong, revs cleanly and sounds fantastic with those PMOs wide open. Better seats, suspension and brakes all added to my list of things to do...

Garage and house now stink of petrol which I presume is just vapours getting out of breather tubes.

ross, just have a quick check of all the fuel pipes ( including the ones under the car at th efuel pump / tank etc) ) to make sure they aren't leaking ... if the car has been sat for a while sometimes they can go hard

I'll take a better look tonight although I couldn't see any obvious leaks at all this morning and Unit11 have had it sat in their workshop for quite a while with petrol in so hopefully would have spotted any problems. The entire fuel system - tank, pump, regulator/filter, carbs - has been renewed though so there's always potential for something not being quite right, perhaps the lines from the tank to the pump weren't though...

Also, check the routing of the vent pipe from the fuel tank - where does it go to ?
