Anyone know about this car

Hi all, I'm new to this site having just purchased a 911 for the first time. It is chassis 9112501329 and started life as a '72 911T. At some time it has been modified to look like a '73 RS and had a cage added. Believe the car was owned by Mr Charles Shaw and raced in the Pirelli Porsche Challenge back in the 80's. Does anyone know who built the car for racing and when? Thanks

If it was raced in the 80s Ted Walker of Ferret Fotogenices will probably have a photo of it, assuming it was on the same reg and the reg was displayed at the time that is. Thinking about it - I think by the time Pirelli took over sponsorship the cars all wore a 'Genuine Porsche Parts' front plate cover and 'Pirelli' rear.

Other than that all I know if it recently belonged to a curly photographer.

Hope you don't mind me adding a picture Ingram, but I saw the car today.

Running a blank case MFI engine with plastic stacks and oil tensioners. Welded up wing mounted oil tank with later oil tank added.

No idea on displacement from looking at the engine briefly, perhaps posting the whole number plate could help with a DVLA check there? (I have edited my picture).

Or a couple of engine pics?

Striped out interior with welded 6 point cage and cut off and extinguisher. Nice seats too.

Looks like a fun project!
