Was the engine at the rear when the car was made or is it the result of a nasty shunt? You can never trust these trader types.

I've heard this particular one has the same chassis number as another rear engined car and is not actually what it purports to be.

Thanks for the interest. After a little research we managed to unearth original documentation proving that the car was a factory 912 prototype based on a Skoda Estelle with a Hillman Imp motor and one-of-a-kind Kugelfischer injection. It's now sold to the Porsche museum in Leighton Buzzard.

It was, I paid £1000 deposit via Western Union and am still waiting for it back. Sam has personally guaranteed it though do I will be getting it :wink:
