This is a cracking little rust free, matching number early 911.
First registered in May 1971, it is a RHD UK car from new and is exceptionally pretty in its original colour scheme of 2020 Pastel Blue with black interior.
The car comes with a comprehensive service history back to 1979 and has been variously looked after by many of the UK's best known names in classic Porsche.
According to the receipts the car was professionally restored in 1994/5 at about 100,000 miles. In 1999 at about 115,000 miles it was acquired by a good customer of ours, a serial Porsche owner and a real enthusiast. He carried out further work including an interior retrim with new half basket weave Recaro replica sports seats, lowering the ride height and fitting lightweight bumpers to give the car its current look. All of the parts to return the car to standard remain with it including the standard flat seats and steel bumpers complete with chrome and rubber trims.
Mechanically Autowerke of Norwich went through the car and carried out any necessary mechanical work inluding renewing the clutch and flywheel, rebuilding the brake calipers and servicing and refreshing where necessary.
The car has only covered about 10,000 miles since and drives and presents brilliantly.
It appears to have had new paintwork to the doors a while ago and in certain lights they have faded to a colour slightly off from the rest of the car. We supplied the car to the previous owner a few years ago and he wasn't worried, but our Approved price allows for painting all down both sides of the car for a perfect colour match if required.
Rust free RHD early 911s like this are very hard to find.
