A remarkably original 2.2 T in glorious Bahia Red.

This car was delivered new to Florida in January 1970 and appears to have remained with the same family until 2007 before coming to the UK in 2010.

It is unrestored and free of rot with factory panel gaps, undamaged floors, and that brilliant sense of originalty that rebuilt cars just cannot replicate. The external trim appears to be all original too. Inside is again all factory correct and close to perfect, the door pockets are crisp, the dash top very good, even the factory Frankfurt radio is present and working.

Mechanically it seems to have needed little more than regular servicing from new. The original engine is on the correct Zeniths and Marelli ignition and the four speed box is in good shape. The car drives very well indeed.

It is supplied with a folder of receipts including the original bill of sale in the sum of £6695, the original maroon wallet and service book, driver's manual, radio manual and original sales literature - a lovely collection of documents.

This really is a lovely, beautifully preserved car that would be very hard to find again in such condition.

£44,995
