What LSD did you install?
ZF original plated or a Kazz?

My 915 is coming out soon for a 2nd gear refresh and thinking of an LSD at the same time.

We put an original ZF plated diff into the gearbox. If you can find One they are proberbly the best option.

I ordered them and I was going to bloody well use them. As Alan has said I'm not sure they are necessary as the glue is very good.

Nice one John and Julie - looks like it's going to turn out a great result. Headliners are quite intimidating the first time - not unlike most jobs really; once the glass is in it really shows the overall effect off

Thanks chaps for the comments, like I say it really isn’t too difficult if you take your time.

Managed to finish most of it off today, even fitted the interior lights and coat hooks.







I think the most difficult area was the C pillar base as there isn’t a great deal to reference too. Anyway it looks like its turned out ok. Lets hope it doesn’t sag in hot weather.

Looks great John May well be seeking your advice in the future as replacing the headlining is on my list of things to do. I have a sunroof to factor in too though and it's the access zip that's currently broken and sagging so hope the sunroof doesn't make it more tricky to fit.

Nice job John, and useful as I will have to do the same soon. If you look back in my thread (Doctors car) then you'll see at the base of the C pillar the headlining was originally held down with a ~30mm wide strip of thick rubber that was originally nailed ( yes, nailed) to the rear shelf. I'm sure just gluing down will suffice, but if you want to add some rubber strip with a couple of self-tappers then that would be an additional support.

I seem to remember some evil metal triangular 'hooks' to locate the bottom edge of the headlining on the C pillar when I did mine. Great job John - CLM here we come!
