Hello everyone

Post by beanpoleuk »

Hi,

Just joined this forum as it seems to be one of the more active speedster forums.

I have just got my Chesil Speedster through IVA, so nearly there now. :)

This is my 3rd kit car all builds can be viewed on my website at http://www.softstar.co.uk

Beanpole,

Enjoyed reading your 'build' on your site. A lot of work and very nice layout of the work you attempted. I have a lot of respect for people that do the work themselves as its never easy to complete a project like that.

If you are like me, you will always enjoy looking at your car its such a nice shape. I reckon also your wife will like it as well, and I would not be surprised if she likes the look of the Speedster more than the Cobra.

I will take notice of hopefully, your next reports on your road tests and if you like the feel of the car.

Well done :)

Roy,

Thanks for the kind words, I seem to enjoy the builds as much as driving the finished car.

The Chesil has turned out to be the most rewarding build as I had not worked with Beetles before and found the technology very interesting.

You are correct, my wife likes the shape and general look of the Speedster more than either the Cobra or the 2B, she has already asked when will she be able to drive it.

Hopefully get the hood fitted this weekend.
