I don't know the car but the lower door/sill area looks a bit 'dodgy' ...

IIRC it was for sale a number of times on ebay in the north east earlier in the year. I think it is this one here: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C247094 and here: http://www.dbmotorbrokers.com/view-car2.php?car_id=85

Is it me or does it look like it has Zenith Carbs instead of MFI in the engine picture? and whilst I'm being picky it has 73 front horn grilles and front and rear lenses (which look really good against the yellow) Should it have a silver engine grille then too?

Other than Andys comment and my comments above, I'd want to know a lot more about the RHD conversion and get a PPI done with a specific focus on this area if I was serious about it and follow up on Andys comments too as he knows so much about these things.

Caveat emptor.

I agree. It looks like the one that was for sale in my neck of the woods for at least a year or so (Washington, NE England).

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the car other than it was for sale for ages (eBay at least three or four times). However, I did get to speak to the owner briefly when I was doing a favour for another DDK'er (helping out with parts collection), and he (the previous owner, who was a nice chap btw) said that he had spent an absolute fortune on the car (not necessarily in the right areas maybe?) and it had just sold and was on it's way down south somewhere. That was in June this year.

If I remember correctly it had sold a couple of times on eBay before re-appearing with that same seller, until it finally sold for around £21-22kish in May/June 2011.

I might have the previous owners contact details if anyone has a genuine interest in the car, but I would have to dig them out so please let me know..

My memory isn't what it was!

Cheers,

Kevin

James - Zeniths are correct for a ROW 2.4 T.

I think the confusion arises 'cos at one point it's described as a 2.4 911E ...
