Alfa 1750 Spider Veloce

Not a Porsche I know, but a lovely little thing so I thought the DDK massive might appreciate it.

1969 Alfa 1750 Spider Veloce

£10,995

The Pininfarina styled round tail Series 1 Alfa Spider is an exceptionally beautiful car and the 1967 - 1969 1750 Veloce is the ultimate incarnation of this much sought after classic.

This example was built in 1969 and is a rare right-hand-drive UK car. Like all of the late Series 1 cars it is fitted with the 118bhp 1750cc twin cam fed by twin carbs driving the rear wheels through a 5 speed gearbox. This lends the car spritely performance to accompany the glorious character of the Alfa twink.

The car is best described as a good, bright, useable, fine-driving example. Like most of these, there is room for cosmetic detailing if desired, but it could equally be used and enjoyed exactly as it stands without problem. The interior is free of rips and tears, the bodywork devoid of any obvious rust and the mechanicals appear excellent.

There is a character to early Alfas that is impossible to deny and whilst a 911 of the same age might go rather more quickly, this little Spider offers just as much fun and a good dose more Italian charm.
