Fantastic to have some paint on the car. I have not managed to take my camera up to the paint shop but have a couple of photos from my phone. The car has been stone guarded and seam sealed and looks great, we have used a glasurit product for the stone guard and it looks fantastic. The areas you see here are painted in glasurit 131 or 1111 paint.

looks like the new rear wing has the pressing for the 72 oil tank pull in the door post. I assume the original would not have had this. I think I will have to over look this, its not the end of the world.
Kind Regards

I just thought it was amazing that no matter how good a restoration, there will always be someone who finds the fault I am with you though mate...overlook it, there are plenty more important things to worry about
The car looks great John, can't wait to see it back on the road

Now then Nigel you suggesting my light ivory paint looks very..... ivory. I must admit I was a little worried myself. Anyway popped up to have a look yesterday and the boys assure me it's glasurit 131 which is light ivory. Looks less creamy in the flesh. Very nice though, I can't stop smiling.

Looks great John, looking forward to the rebuild.
My car often looks very white and yet in different lights very cream. Biased obviously but I love the colour!
Great to meet up and see the shell in the flesh last week the day before the first paint went on. Truly stunning job. Give me a shout when more paint is on and I will come over again.
