Has this car ever been discussed or anyone know anything about about it? I was at Silverstone over the weekend and camped next to a guy who was thinking about buying it. The first thing I noticed when looking in the catalogue was that the front wings were missing the grills (not shown on the pictures on-line).

it sold the day after the auction I am told

It was being offered around by a well known Porsche dealer/racer before the auction and we weren't brave enough to buy it. I thought it would be interesting to try to get the quoted 320kmh out of it...

I'd have thought James Hunt's van would have gone for less ... seems quite agood buy for such a piece of history
