certainly looks nice enough, but high owners & mileage. mentions a gearbox rebuild, but at that mileage i would be happier if at least a top end was already taken care of too.

IIRC this car was traded on IB.com a few months a go for around 11k?

- cant see a reserve though...?

I know that problem!

You won't see there is a reserve until someone bids and then not the amount until the bids go over it.

It certainly does look good.

However, I had a look at one of their early conversions about two years ago. It is the bronze green one on their website.

Even with my very limited knowledge I could see there were "issues" with the backdating and general workmanship

IIRC the car ended up at Nick Moss's place

Not my cup of tea - hard to see the future value without originality, and also just doesn't look convincing in my opinion.

Although saying that, there is clearly a market for these backdates, and Retro Works seem to be offering much more competitive prices than others.
