James
Don't know the car, don't know the seller but there is no doubt (from the flora) that those pictures are taken in the north of Scotland.

We have one member within shouting distance of Brora if it helps for a viewing/more pictures.

Regards
Mike

That's the first RHD I've seen for sale for ages

As you say Dave, 35K is a good price.

The registration is very near Hayleys car (28 vhx) and it's a lovely colour.

That's all I know.

The auction has been ended early, the item is no longer available. :|

Shame, it looked like a lovely car, let`s hope it pops up on DDk sooner or later.

Mike.
Yet another seller who gave assurances of not selling or letting anyone view the car until I got there and yet did so and sold it earlier today. Only wasted 2 whole days of my life sorting it all out with this ar$e.

Was quite happy to speak to me in the USA at length about the car and give lots and lots of verbal assurances and we agreed price etc but still meant jack **** at the end of the day. Didn't have balls to ring me when he sold it though...just a brief email saying car now sold. Glad I hadn't paid for the flights yet and can get money back on other elements.

I hate ebay sellers.  Or is this a Scottish thing?

Only joking Jocko's!

Hope someone here bought it and its a nice car, hope you know what you were looking at if you did.

If its gone to a dealer then I hope it turns out to be a rust bucket :P :P

Off to Poker to cheer myself up.....I better bloody win

Thanks Hendrik for all your help again mate - next time we will get there!

Thats strange as I offered a RHD 356B on here a few weeks back at a discounted price to ddk members, I was looking for £26k but offered it to the members @ £19999 & as no one in Englandshire could be bothered getting off their arse because it was in Scotland.I stuck it on e-bay & got £22100.It was worth so much more & the buyer was delighted. Like I said at the time I bought it handy & was not trying to rip the arse out it or the members price wise, thats why it was so cheap . So in future when you see a car listed in Scotland dont feed us the usual bull just get off your arse we wont bite (we may stab you) & thats why that stunning car was sold off e-bay today someone turned up & had a deal! as they say cash is king talk is..........

What total and utter crap.

If I wanted a B I may have got in touch with you, wherever it was, but I didn't. As it sounds nobody else did...

I got off my arse spent 2 days sorting out flights, car hire and hotels and discussing the car in detail with the guy after first emailing him to say I'm not going to go through all this $hit if you are going to pi$$ me about and sell it to someone local who can get their quicker and he confirming he wouldn't under any circumstances and then talking him at length about the same scenario and he promising if I was going to go to so much trouble he certainly wouldn't..... 6 hrs before he sold it I had told him my plans for flights etc today.

I'm sorry but your word is your word in my book. Full stop. End of story.

Cash may be king but your integrity is all you have.

I have bought cars off people who could have got more for them if it was not for their integrity.

I have sold cars I realised quickly I could have got more for if it was not for my integrity.

Some people have it. Some people don't.

I like dealing with people who do :P

PS I didn't feed you or him any bull either and being a Geordie and working for a Scottish bank for a long time i have a lot of affiliation with the Jocks. Its not really my fault if you all have a serious inferiority complex over the English though is it
