Hi Will
Funny, I was just looking at that advert. Agree car looks nice, I wonder if the "completely original" description actually means needs restoration! I guess the only way to find out is to have a look.
Not sure where you are located but I am in West London so could have a look or perhaps meet you there if you go to view. I am guessing you want a suitably experienced person to check it out though.
Would make a lovely ride I think.
Regards

quote from ad link: "...AN EXTREMELY REAR OPPURTUNITY..." Sound like an opportunity that I can live without ! What does that 'entail'?! I think I saw a film about that once...
And also, they can't spell opportunity
That's the 'teacher' in me
Other than that, looks nice...super-low mileage as well !

Dreaming of driving a pre-A 356, actually commuting in a Cayman and for the weekend, a 911 'thing', with a Carrera 3 engine ( we think).

It is variously 301958 and 301538; with the latter most likely correct.
If someone does check it out, please confirm the paint code and the engine #. The documentation shows production date of April, but I suspect it should be much closer to the June delivery date like all the other 3015xx VIN's in my database.

I have known Pepe for about 30 years when he was involved in the used Porsche parts market (other than that I have no connection with him).I first heard about this car some 18 months or so ago and the photos I saw of it then show that quite a bit of work has been done since. I have never seen the car in the flesh though and have no idea what actual repairs were required or were done in order to pass an Mot test let alone a restoration. I suggest the car is worth looking at - but speak to Pepe and make your own decision .
